Sonar Ping

In Sonar Ping pilot a small submarine to uncover mysteries in the deep. Navigate through the tight passages and open trenches while finding devices that unveil the darkness of these alien waters. 

Sonar Ping is a side scroller, exploration prototype that showcases a grid based post processing effect. The abilities the player finds pushes the possibilities of the unique visual aesthetic of the game. Every grid cell responds to the player.

Sonar Ping started with the idea of showcasing this visual effect. To provide context, the theme of the deep sea was implemented. Now the aim is to further homogenize both the environment and mechanic. Expanding different devices, biomes and collectables are planned to further explore the visual effect.
